ESPCI Paris and Michelin are pleased to invite you to the 3rd International Workshop on Multi-scale Dynamics of Polymeric Materials, organized at ESPCI Paris on November 17-18, 2016.
This two days workshop targets chemists, material scientists, physicists and engineers interested in the development, processing, and applications of polymeric materials and composites. These materials are characterized by the presence of topological constraints, composition fluctuations, and interactions between solid interfaces at different scales. Controlling these phenomena opens new routes to develop unique materials with tailored properties. The workshop will focus on the connection between macromolecular architecture, mesoscale structure and interactions, local dynamics, glass transition, and macroscopic properties. Emphasis will be given to the rational design of advanced materials using recent developments in polymer science.
The workshop will include invited lectures, keynotes lectures and a poster session. Attendance to the workshop is free but, due to the limited number of participants (up to 150), pre-registration* and confirmation of attendance is compulsory. Students and postdoctoral researchers are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts* for presentation at the poster session.
